I Long To See, The Sterling Queen | Poem

It’s dreadful to know,
I couldn’t be cured, yet healed.

It’s terrible to feel,
I couldn’t be treated, yet cared.

It’s loving to soothe,
I couldn’t be hurt, yet suffered.

Why do I long to see you, Queen?
Isn’t it a desire I forbidden?

Deathra, bleed me now,

I can’t see dark in light,

Send me into darkness,

There I see light,

Let my heart be fond of her,

Free my heart of silence,

The words turn dark each moment,
We meet in secret.
