It’s Not Sad What You Know | Poem

I often found my heart longing a heart,

Sad it may sound, I may sell my soul,

For a desire that hasn’t left the thoughts,

For voids to come alone in emptiness.

Still, I tell you, unnamed cure,

The moment I look inside the thoughts,

I remember darkness is not what pains,

It’s the desire to share it with the light of your love.

I never knew what put me on the unholy altar,

I know leaving is true,

I know loving is true,

I know hurting is true,

I don’t know if a single tear shading,

Is alive or just mocking the helpless?
