Keep Me | Poem

How long it’s been, Deathra,

My hands, my toes, my mouth were tied,

It’s not the first I began to taste pain,

There’s smile stuck on my face,

And, the torturer tortured this tormented soul,

I knew the fears of this world inflicted upon.

Hours spent to shed a tear of my flesh,

Tiredness I felt in their sickness,

And, you stood there invisible to them,

Watching everything as a lover of pain,

I found you there and you never left.

It’s strange that I lose memories of past lovers,

Still you are crystal to my memories,

Is it how you gifted the unasked gifts?
