It May Rest | Poem

There’s a long way to home,

What shall I think about?

Let’s keep it short, tonight,

You wear the purple latex,

Everything’s shaped as decided.

I give you the pain’s heart,

You submit your pain to that.

Let’s keep it short, tonight,

And, I’m still penning in red,

Thinking it may rest, tonight.
