Candlelight Of Soul | Poem

Times in cursing,
I stared at candlelight,
Knowing it will burn my sight,
Thinking to not let it go,
Imaging a hell I created,
Within the walls imposed on me,
I darken thoughts to survive,
Still,
I wander in forests of emptiness.

Times in cursing,
I wrote thousand words,
Bringing life to her on paper,
Crafting another me to humane,
Within the freedom I fought against,
Still,
I run in the circles of pain and pleasure.

You talked about happiness,
I said about sorrow,
Together we learnt to survive,
You hid in the universe to see,
I become the universe to feel,
Still,
Candlelight of soul terrifies me.
